Congratulations to Bryan for winning Essential Manners #5!

If you approach a door and someone is folling you, hold the door open.

Congratulations, Bryan!

Zorro

Zorro's mama came to visit our class to teach us how to find parts of a whole!
Here are the steps:
1. Divide the whole number by the denominator of the fraction.
2. Multiply the quotient by the numerator of the fraction!
Good luck!

Tania's Blog of the Week

Today we learned about division and now we are learning about fractions!

We already finished with our European Explorer so now are learning about the 13 colonies.

Today in our science we were learning about a sponge. The sponge soaks up all the water! It is call absorption! We put a pencil in water and it looked like 2 pencils. That is called refraction. We got to draw pictures and make posters about the experiments that we learned today!

Have a good weekend!
Tania
