The Model Classroom, affectionately known as the MC, is structured so that there are two components: Move-In and Move-Out.
On Move-In days, teachers from around the school "move-in" to our classroom for thirty minute blocks. While the teacher comes in to observe instuctional strategies taking place in our classroom, one of our co-teaching partners will work with that teacher's students in his or her classroom on the same topic.
On Move-Out days, one of us will go to a teacher's classroom for a thirty minute block to work with that teacher and his or her students in their own classroom. During that time, the other co-teaching partner remains with our student in our classroom.
